Timberlink to undertake Principal Partner role at TOC 2022

Timberlink Australia will undertake the prominent role of Principal Partner at the upcoming Timber Offsite Construction conference and exhibition next year.

In announcing the role Timberlink CEO Ian Tyson stated “We are pleased to be involved as our plans are well underway for a new purpose-built manufacturing plant for engineered wood products adjacent to our current Tarpeena plant.

“The new product range will be named ‘NeXTimber’ and includes Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and Glue Laminated Timber (GLT) structural members for mass timber building solutions”.

He added “Every day at Timberlink we transform sustainably grown plantation pine into quality timber products, which can be used to make almost anything from a simple pallet to an 8-storey building.

“We make structural timber for wall frames and roof trusses, outdoor treated framing for decks and pergolas, glulam posts, decking, fencing, sleepers, appearance DAR and lining boards, mouldings and woodchips.

“Our two regional sawmills, in Tarpeena and Bell Bay are supported by our national distribution network. This gives our customers flexibility and fast turnarounds supported by an experienced sales and service team.

In closing Ian said “At Timberlink we are committed to our key values of safety first, openness, fairness, resilience, respect, and integrity”.

The Timber Offsite Construction ‘hybrid’ conference and exhibition will be held 21-22 June 2022 at Crown Promenade in Melbourne.
